Host Your Event Here!

The Oceanarium and Education Center would be pleased to host your event at our beautiful facility on Jones Marsh. Located on a 20-acre peninsula of woods and fields, the Oceanarium features a Visitor Center with restrooms, grassy courtyard, aquarium and museum buildings, and a short trail. We are surrounded by the marsh to the west, a tidal river to the north, and a salt pond to the east. All rentals include staff members to manage the site and educate visitors on the exhibits in our buildings and on the marsh trail.
Amenities
  • Visitor Center, housing large bathrooms and our museum shop, with ocean-themed gifts,
    local art and craft, books, toys, snacks and drinks available for purchase;
  • Aquarium building with indoor lobster boat, 2000 gallons of aquaria featuring a variety of
    Gulf of Maine creatures, and an enormous touch tank with sea stars, hermit crabs, sea

    beachcomber exhibition, art, touch table, and birch bark canoe;
